Welcome to  Mrs. Doerfler's Fourth Grade!!!!

Hi! I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Joan Doerfler and I will be your child's fourth grade teacher. This is my fourteenth year of teaching and my eleventh year  with fourth graders (eighth year at Holy Family). My previous teaching experiences have been at St. Joseph's in Springfield, St. Thomas in Peoria Heights, and Channahon Elementary.

I'm very excited about the beginning of school. My goal is to help your child have a successful year. This is accomplished by working together. In order to do this, we will need your support at home and your child will have responsibilities here at school.
