Welcome to 4th grade Science

Hello! I am looking forward to a great year of Science with the 4th graders! They have already proven to be quite the scientists.  We will be focusing on many topics in the 3 major divisions of Science: Life Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science.   We use the Macmillan McGraw-Hill Illinois book and meet daily from 8:23-9:03 a.m. 

THE MAJOR DIVISIONS OF SCIENCE:

EARTH SCIENCE: Study of the earth, space, and weather

LIFE SCIENCE: Study of living things

PHYSICAL SCIENCE: Study of the physical world. Includes sound, electricity, atoms, etc.
