Dear Holy Family School Community:

This is the week the doors are open once again at our parish grade school.  Yes, the summer vacation is over.  Yes, it is time to come back to this great place of learning our parish provides for our youth.  Yes, the halls will be filled with the smiles & laughter of the great young people we have in our parish.

Each year that we are able to provide quality Catholic education through our school is another opportunity to give thanks to God.  How privileged & fortunate we have the resources & commitment of so many to have a grade school in these times.  When we see schools closing throughout our nation, we are open for the “business” of helping our children grow in our Catholic Faith.  And this is a ministry that is priceless.  There is nothing more we could ever do for our children than to enable them to grow in their faith in a positive environment & one that is faith-centered & celebrated.

Thanks to our benefactors who give of their treasure to help us pay bills & provides what it takes to have a school.

Thanks to Sr. Geraldine & our entire faculty & staff who work together to have our facility so nice & who work to educate our children.

Thanks to our parents who send their children here, many times that decision involving sacrifice.

Thanks to our students who make our school worthwhile & make it one of the best in our diocese.

Thanks to all who pray for our school.

Welcome to our new teachers & aides.  Glad to have you aboard!!!  We are fortunate to have you here.

And let us not forget to welcome the Lord Jesus to our school.  He is THE MOST IMPORTANT PRESENCE AT HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC GRADE SCHOOL!  May He feel welcomed.  May He be seen through all at our school.  May He flourish here each day.

I pray that our 2007-2008 school year will be one of countless blessings!  Through the intercession of the Holy Family---Jesus, Mary, & Joseph---I am confident it will be.

Your Pastor,
