The date and time of our performance will be Thursday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the gym. Students should plan on meeting in their classrooms at 6:10, and they should already be in costume. ALL students in grades K-5 are involved!

Rats is a musical about the story of the Pied Piper, so it takes place in Germany in the 1200s. Costumes for the musical in general are:

Grades K and 1 are children (except for the 5 first graders who are rats) and should wear:
boys -- shorts and a white polo, suspenders are optional.
girls -- long skirt and a blouse

Grade 2 are rats and should wear gray shirts and bottoms. The shirts can be long or short sleeved depending on the temperature and bottoms can be shorts, sweatpants, yoga pants, or skirts -- as long as they're gray. These students will have headbands with ears to wear (we'll provide those) and will need a black nose and whiskers painted on their face. If there are any parents who would like to assist with this, please contact me!

Grades 3-5 are townspeople (unless they are rats) and should wear the following:
Boys -- uniform pants and a buttondown shirt
girls -- long skirt and a blouse

If anyone is having trouble coming up with a costume or has any questions, please contact Mrs. Smith.
